This is Rocco. He is about 6 months old, and will probably not get much taller, but will probably fill out as he matures. Yes, Rocco is a Pit Bull. Rocco is also one of the sweetest dogs you'll ever meet. He was found running in traffic on a busy street, and picked up by a kind hearted person who couldn't bear the thought of him being injured. Rocco was very thin, infested with fleas, had a few scrapes on him, and needed surgery to repair an abdominal hernia. All of his medical needs have been taken care of now. He has been neutered, is current on all of his shots, heartworm negative, and gaining weight nicely. All he needs now is a family of his very own to love and play with. Rocco is great with other dogs - he attends daycare every day and has never met a dog he doesn't like! He also loves people and will do best with an active person or family that will include him in their activities. He loves to swim, and he loves to snuggle. He is working on learning his basic obedience skills, and is crate trained. If you're looking for a loving, loyal dog, please consider Rocco. I know Pit Bulls get a lot of bad press - but before you believe everything you read, stop by and meet Rocco, let him show you that a Pit Bull is just a dog, not something evil or bad. In almost 30 years of working with dogs,(and I've worked with many, many different breeds of dogs) the two worst bites I've ever had were from a Rat Terrier and a Golden Retriever. Blame the DEED, not the BREED.
